Explore the rich landscapes and mythologies of the Northern tradition using ancient and modern approaches to journeying, divination, trance, energy work, healing and magic.  You will learn to work with the runes, spirit guides and ancestors, northern energies and elements, and the many beings living on the great World Tree as you access the ancient powers of the North and your own creative potential.

Our Northern Shaman and RuneCraft programme follows the same structure of levels as all of our courses at StarFire Alchemy, meaning that you can integrate the programme with your shamanic training, or train exclusively as a Northern Shamanic practitioner.

Beginners courses

• Introduction to RuneCraft - take your first steps working with the runes as energy forms
• Introduction to Rune casting - open your psychic vision to the mysteries of the runes and the flow of Wyrd
• Rune making - make and empower your own rune set
• Working with the Hammer of Thor - access the mighty power of Thor’s Hammer for balancing, empowerment and protection
• Journeys with the Elder Futhark - these pathworkings are designed to bring you into immediate contact with the energies and mysteries of the runes

Practitioner programmes

• Rune practitioner - an intensive self-study programme for those wishing to become adept at using the runes for Casting and Crafting
• Yggdrasil’s Path – a six month course taught one day a month for healers and shamanic workers wishing to discover the northern tradition, as well as runesters wishing to explore the shamanic practices of the north
