Shamanic training with StarFire Alchemy

We offer a full programme of shamanic training, arranged into levels so that people can see if a course is appropriate for them. Students who wish to complete the Way of the Weaver shamanic practitioner programme or the Northern shamanism programme work through a number of the courses below. Please see the Way of the Weaver or Northern shamanism pages to see which courses you need to complete.

Level 1 courses – the start of your journey

Level 1 courses are suitable for beginners, but can also be very powerful for those coming to shamanism from another discipline, or those who are used to working alone who wish to start training in a group. Please click on the individual courses for full information.

Drum & voice workshop

An accessible introduction to sound healing, focused on using drums, singing and chanting to raise energy and promote healing. Includes a deep journey to find the song that resonates with your soul. A powerful addition to your personal work.

Incense making

This practical afternoon workshop will teach you how to create your own incense blends and empower them with your intention.

Rune Making

A one day workshop in which you will make and empower your own rune set.

Introduction to RuneCraft

A one day introduction to the theoretical, practical and energetic methods of working with the runes. Learning to use the runes to understand our inner and outer worlds.

Introduction to Rune Casting

An intensive 2 day course where ou will learn the art of Rune Casting, meet your personal rune guide, develop your seership skills, and deepen your understanding and connection to the runes.

Level 2 – grounding and confidence

These courses begin to bring you into an understanding of what you can do. You will be guided and held in a safe space as you begin to explore deep work and your own identity as an energy worker. Applicants must have some experience (the appropriate level 1 courses or similar training else where) and a willingness for personal transformation.

Intuitive Healer

This 6 month course gives a strong foundation in shamanic and psychic healing techniques, while developing your creative identity as a healer. Attendance is by application only.

Rune Practitioner

This 12-module guided correspondence course will develop your RuneCrafting and Rune Casting skills up to practitioner level.  You will create your own Galdrbok and work through a series of practical exercises and rites designed to enrich your personal kenning hoard (store of rune knowledge), explore the Northern tradition, and build your skill, confidence and experience as a rune practitioner.

Yggdrasil’s Path

A six-month course providing a strong foundation in shamanic techniques rooted within the traditions of Northern Europe.

Level 3 – Way of the Weaver shamanic training

At this level we are working much more deeply and offering students the space, skills and tools to bring profound personal development to themselves and others. This is deeply transformational work. These courses form the first modular options on the Way of the Weaver course, however many are available as stand alone modules for those wishing to develop their skills in a particular area. Students who have completed the Intuitive Healer course are able to join any of the classes below, those who have trained elsewhere and feel they have sufficient experience should email kay@starfirealchemy.co.uk in the first instance.

Shamanic journeying

5 weekly classes (evening or afternoon). This course develops journeying skills, using them as part of a powerful healing processes including the shamanic power retrieval ceremonies. Compulsory for Way of the Weaver students.

Drum and rattle workshop

A 1 day workshop, learning to work with your drum and rattle as tools and allies in energy healing. A fun and powerful way to get comfortable with these essential shamanic tools. Optional Way of the Weaver module.

Healing voice

A 1 day workshop, giving an understanding of the powerful healing tool that is your voice. Optional Way of the Weaver module.

Colour healing

A 1 day workshop harnessing the power of colour to transform energy and shift into new levels of healing. Delivers the shift you need in your own healing at that time. Optional Way of the Weaver module.

Cord cutting

A 1 day workshop, learning to cut ties to people or situations holding us back from fulfilling our path. Teaches powerful treatment and self treatment techniques. Optional Way of the Weaver module.

Past Life Healing

A 1 day workshop, exploring the use of trance to heal wounds from this or previous incarnations. A beautifully intense course. Optional Way of the Weaver module.

Extraction

An intensive 2 day course learning a powerful technique to remove ‘intrusions’ (energetic blockages) from the body. An advanced healing technique done under the guidance of Spirit, students must have completed the Journeying course first. Compulsory for Way of the Weaver students.

Level 4 – deep transformational healing

For students progressing on from level 3 courses with us, this level is the culmination of the taught Way of the Weaver programme. Armed with the joyous and illuminating experiences and tools gained at level 3, students come together to remember who they truly are, and who they can be. Deep, soul level healing for the all who attend, and preparation for facilitating such healing for others.

Soul crafting

An intense training course exploring healing at soul level, including shamanic soul retrieval ceremonies. Here we communicate with the true essence of who we are, we are healed, restored and empowered. Compulsory for Way of the Weaver students.
