I just wanted to say a few quick words of thanks to you both for the wonderful day of Ancestral Healing which you hosted last Sunday.
I have a host of memories of some lovely moments from this day and many impressions, thoughts and echoes which continue on after the event.
This day represented a number of ‘firsts’ for me – my first Shamanic workshop, ceremony, journey and experience of healing and working with ancestral spirits in this way – but also my first contact with both of you and your work, an association which I hope will prove to be rich and fruitful and of great benefit to all. You are both truly gifted facilitators and teachers.
What was also a great and delightful surprise to me was the relaxed and open atmosphere around the group and the gentle spirit of community and family which developed around us through the day. I have done much work in the past with many different kinds of groups, but seldom felt so at ease so quickly in what could have been a very challenging environment for me. That the event worked so well was a tribute to both of you, and your natural and intuitive skills.

A really lovely workshop and completely effective! When I now try to reach out to the negative connections I’d created (and removed on the days course) I now can’t find that negative feeling and connection, I see the problem but it doesn’t seem to affect me. 2011 Cord Cutting course – Siân, Essex

Thank you for such a wonderful day explaining the Runes. I came to your course  knowing little more than the spelling of RUNES – but by the end of the day, I had not only understood the basics but had also experienced the wonderful energies!  How authentic and accurate it felt when I picked out the “Othala” as my first Rune to work with during the day! You remember I’m going back to India! It felt like a confirmation of the right way. I would like to share my experience with Kay and Magin on their cord cutting course. Upon arriving you receive a lovely warm welcome and are given enough time to find your bearings before starting what was to become an amazing workshop.
We began by weaving a golden web that protected us and the space for the day.
The best part of the workshop is that there are no rules and no structure, the only surefire bet was that you would leave the workshop with a wealth of knowledge and a thirst for more…… Kay and Magin compliment each other perfectly and there is a very healthy balance in their partnership that lures you into a beautiful safe space. Whilst Kay holds your attention with her eccentricities, Magin has a silky smooth storytelling voice with a wit that is quick and fun.
Our first shamanic journey was to meet spider and be shown the webs we have weaved and what cords need cutting. Everytime we journeyed time was made for all to share their experiences and have some messages explained if we did not understand them. I have to say, before I did my first journey I was quite sceptical that these cords even existed. Although I was not fortunate enough to be shown them as I feel and hear rather than have visions, my goodness I truly felt them and could not wait to begin cutting them!
After lunch Magin introduced us to the history and bluntness of the Norns (whilst throwing in some health and safety tips whilst visiting The well of wyrd). We then journeyed again to meet them and hear what knowledge they would share with us. The Norns did not let us down and we all recieved blunt but profound messages.
It was time to pair off and work on each other…..Magin stood guard holding the space and stretching the golden web, whilst sending healing to whoever needed it. It is always nice to work on someone and to get their feedback. Everybody came back to the circle looking bright and refreshed wanting to share their experiences, unfortunately time was running out so we moved on swiftly to go on another journey as web-weavers so we could all weave a cloak. We set our intention as was taught to us all and we all came back with magically awesome cloaks. It was time to leave, but we all floated out.
I would recommend anyone to do a course with Kay and Magin, they are truly magical and inspiring teachers. Often answering all your questions before you get them out of your mouth. They teach on a pure love and safety level and this shines through in their workshops. I hope to do many more workshops under their guidance. 2011 Cord Cutting course – Leanne, London

Personally it has left me very inspired. there is no doubt that it connected intimately with personal work that I am doing and I really feel that the runes are going to support me in that.  You allow for enough time for people to go off on tangents, but you keep it to time and hold the space really well. Your calm and gentle delivery coupled with your obvious authority in the subject matter works particularly well as a teaching style and I also appreciated the humour and (slight) irreverence you bring as well!  The course built up so that by the time I came to inscribe my rune it was so much more than a funny shape. It had meaning and character and an energy all of its own. I felt I really understood what Raido was for me in that moment. I’d like say that working with Kay and Magin is an inspiring experience. Two of the best teachers I have ever had the privilege of learning from. After the cord cutting course I was drawn to do some more work on myself which has helped me a great deal.

We had a fantastic evening last night for Evolve at the Healing Shed with Kay Gillard’s introduction to Shamanic Power.
There was an air of excitement before this evening from everyone who was attending, and they were not disappointed on the evening.
The shed was filled with the beautiful smell of white sage as Kay talked about Shamanic power, how we loose it or give it away in our lives, and how it effects our health and healing.
The group were given ways to regain their power and shown how to journey and find out where they had lost their power, and also who they may of taken power from as well.
We were then lead into a powerful drum journey of our own to meet a power animal that we would each work with for our own power..and everyone in the group had a different animal including a raccoon, Phoenix, eagle, bear, tiger and hedgehog.
To end the evening one person was chosen at random to take part in a very powerful Shamanic power retrieval healing ritual.
During this ritual the person chosen lay down while the group drummed and rattled a beat, flooding the space with energy.
Kay journeyed next to the person and retrieved the lost power with the aid of a power animal, bringing back a beautiful message of strength, beauty and healing which moved the whole group.
The group were blown away by the healing experience, and the energy in the shed was buzzing and the person who was chosen felt calmer, lighter and in less pain.

I come from a totally scientific background. The point being, that although I have been involved with alternative healing for some time, I still need to see some evidence before I am convinced of anything. The last session of the recent ” drum and rattle ” day, facilitated by Kay and Magin, was a manifestation session and I was skeptical about the whole notion. (We certainly stirred up some amazing energy though.)
I chose to work on manifesting storytelling opportunities at my local school and then gave it no more thought. However,within a week I had received an offer of opportunities for storytelling, more or less on my own terms. This despite having been met with indifference for the last three years. Coincidence? What an amazing 6 months! Now that it’s over I really miss the lovely ladies who shared the incredible experiences. I had a fantastic time on the Drum and Rattle course which was run by Kay and Magin, they are amazing at what they teach.

I had an awsome healing, After I left the course and got back to my friend Leanne’s house as we were due to get ready and go out, I was physically sick about 2 hours after the course but the next day I felt more clearer than I have for years. I had the clear mind of what to do in my life’s next step.

I have manifested a new house outside of London already, it’s amazing, I have been trying to move for 5 years and after the Drum and Rattle course (1 and a half months ago be exact) I have a move yippppeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for new wisdom you have both taught me, I will always be able to manifest my highest desires for my highest and best in my life……

Using the Drum and Rattles for a healing is one of the best ways I have come across that actually moves negative energy physically and very very quickly, as I found out (lol).

I would like to thank Kay and Magin for being the best teachers I have ever had the privilege of meeting.

I cannot wait to come to another course in the near future.
